Architecturally integrated PV array (entrance shelter). Solar "chimneys" on roof to help extract heat from building.

Grid connected PV as well as solar heated water used for underfloor heating.

 

"Bio Wall" used to shelter the western wall.

 

North facing windows and doors shaded with tilt adjust sun shades.

 

Coloured concrete slab floor with underfloor electric heating using off-peak power.

 

"See through" floor panel (aka Truth Window) used to demonstrate underfloor heating and insulation techniques.

 

Building integrated grey water recycling. Tap is coloured purple and has a removable handle to prevent accidental use.
