Now is a great time to make the move to clean energy and install a solar energy system on your home or business. The current Solar Credits rebate scheme provides a return ranging between about $3500 and $5500 on a 1.5kW system. This rebate is in the for form of a 5 times multiplier on RECs certificates which can be cashed in when solar is installed on a home or business.

In July next year, this multiplier will begin to drop first to a 4 x multiplier dropping annually until there is no multiplier, just the value of RECs certificates. In other words get your system installed before the end of June 2011 to gain the best discount on your installation.
